The Dress My Craft Flower Making Specialty Paper is much more than ordinary white cardstock. It has been developed specifically for cutting petals and leaves that can then be shaped, curved and moulded into dimensional handmade flowers.
Its surface has a soft feel and is specially treated to work well with water, mist and color. This is especially useful when shaping flowers, as petals are often lightly dampened before being pressed or moulded with flower-making tools. The paper helps colors remain vibrant, making it easy to add gradients, shading and realistic detail.
At 285gsm, the paper has enough body to hold the form you create. Cut petals with dies or punches, color them before or after shaping and layer different sizes together to build anything from small blossoms to fuller dimensional flowers.

✨ Inspiration Tip:
Cut the same petal design in two or three sizes and add color before shaping, keeping the center slightly darker and the outer edges lighter. Lightly dampen the paper, curve each petal and allow it to dry before layering. The finished flower will have much more natural depth, while the color gradient will emphasize its dimension.
