Gelli Arts Script Stencil by Giovanna Zara | 5.25" x 7.25"

Brand: GELLI ARTS
The Gelli Arts Script Stencil by Giovanna Zara features large, free-flowing handwritten words that work as both lettering and texture across your background. The design has enough movement to give a gel print character while remaining easy to layer with colour, collage, florals and other stencils. It is especially useful when you want to introduce handwriting into art journals, mixed media and cards without drawing or lettering it by hand.

The Gelli Arts Script Stencil was designed by Giovanna Zara and features large words in flowing handwritten script across the surface. Made from durable, flexible 10 mil mylar, it can be reused across gel printing, monoprinting, mixed media and art journaling projects. The design works equally well as a strong typographic feature or as a more subtle layer within a built-up background.

In gel printing, the script can be used in several ways: print it clearly over a colour layer, use it for masking, or allow only fragments of the lettering to appear between other prints and textures. The large handwritten words bring rhythm and movement to a composition and pair naturally with abstract marks, botanical motifs, collage and photographs.

Create a print inspired by a personal sketchbook page, allowing the handwritten script to run across different colour layers and adding small collage pieces, stamped imagery or botanical motifs. The lettering becomes part of the composition rather than simply sitting on top as text.
