Re-Design with Prima Evergreen & Embers captures the irregular beauty of natural timber, from fine growth rings to deeply textured bark edges. The range of shapes and sizes allows you to create woodland embellishments that work equally well as individual accents or as part of a larger layered arrangement.
The larger wood slices can become focal points on trays, signs and frames, while the smaller rounds and branch pieces are useful around floral arrangements, photographs, seasonal wording and other cast embellishments. Several pieces can also be combined to create a natural wreath or a layered design inspired by the cross section of a tree trunk.
Once cast, finish the pieces with earthy paint, patina, dry brushing and antiquing wax to highlight the rings and bark texture. For a more contemporary look, try white, black or metallic finishes and allow the sculpted surface to remain the main feature.
The mould is made from high-quality, heat-resistant, food-safe silicone. It can be used with resin, air-dry clay, paper clay, modelling materials, casting compounds and hot glue, as well as fondant and chocolate. Keep moulds used for edible materials separate from moulds used with resin, adhesives or other craft products.

✨ Inspiration Tip:
Cast the large arrangement in resin or paper clay and paint it with two shades of brown. Dry-brush the growth rings with a lighter tone and deepen the bark with dark patina. Add a small photograph, botanical transfer or seasonal sentiment to the centre and use it as the focal point on a wooden sign.
