Unlike thinner Paper Dolls, Baseboard Dolls are printed on substantial, rigid chipboard. They hold their shape, have a stronger physical presence and naturally stand forward from the background, making them especially effective in shadow boxes, vignette boxes, assemblage and dimensional mixed media artwork.
