Small objects, antique seals and imagery that appears to have been discovered in forgotten boxes come together in Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Mini Flair. The package contains 12 round decorative buttons in assorted sizes, ideal for introducing vintage character and subtle dimension without covering the other elements in your project.
Every flair features a different image. The assortment includes a flower, clock face, four-leaf clover, bird, star, butterfly, male portrait, factory seal, number 54, dog, hand and fragment of an antique document. This variety makes the collection suitable for botanical, industrial, nostalgic and eclectic compositions.
The Mini Flair pieces have metal bases, while clear plastic overlays protect the printed imagery. Their flat backs do not include pins or fastening mechanisms, so they can be adhered directly to your project using strong craft adhesive, gel medium or another suitable bonding material.
Their varied diameters work especially well within layered clusters. Use one of the larger pieces as a compact focal point, then surround it with smaller elements, labels, Snippets and botanical die-cuts. The smallest buttons fit comfortably on tags, tabs and narrow journal pages, while the larger designs can complete a photographic or typographic composition.
The metal construction creates an attractive contrast against paper, cardstock, fabric and chipboard. They also work beautifully on journal covers, decorated boxes and assemblage pieces, where their natural dimension becomes more prominent.
