Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Large Fasteners recalls the rivets and aged hardware found on archival folders, leather cases and industrial objects. Three antique finishes allow you to work with the cooler appearance of silver, the warmth of copper or the traditional vintage character of brass.
Use them to secure photographs, labels, chipboard, pockets and layered elements without adhesive. Two flexible prongs pass through a small hole and open at the back, while the same construction can also form working pivots for rotating tabs, pointers and other interactive features.
Their larger heads remain visible enough to become part of the design. Arrange them at the corners of a photograph, alongside a metal plaque or across journal covers and assemblage projects to add repeated metallic details that visually connect the composition.
