The Spectrum Noir TriBlend Tan Shade combines three deeper beige-brown tones in one marker for controlled, dimensional blending. Start with TN6 as your base, build intensity with TN8 and deepen shadows using TN9. Lightly blend back with TN6 to keep transitions smooth.

Tan Shade is ideal for deeper skin tones, stronger facial shadows, fabric illustration and natural elements that require more contrast than Tan Blend.

👉 Features:

  • Alcohol-based dye ink for smooth, even coverage
  • 3 tones in one marker for controlled deeper shading
  • Japanese made fine nibs for clean, precise lines
  • Micro-pore ink flow system for consistent colour delivery
  • Hexagonal barrel with colour identification

💥 The Tan Shade marker includes shades no TN6, TN8 & TN9.

👍 Ideal for:

  • Deeper skin tone colouring
  • Character shading
  • Fabric and natural details
  • Layering over Tan Blend
  • Realistic stamp colouring

Inspiration Tip:

Layer Tan Shade over Tan Blend for dimensional skin colouring. For even deeper accents, selectively add Muted Brown in shadow areas without overpowering the base tone.

🎨 Spectrum Noir TriBlend – What They Are & Why They’re Different

The TriBlend markers by Spectrum Noir are alcohol-based markers designed with a smart 3-in-1 system:
three perfectly coordinated tones of the same colour inside one single marker.

This allows you to create smooth shading and natural gradients without switching between multiple markers.

🧠 How the 3-in-1 System Works

Each TriBlend marker includes:

  • A Light tone
  • A Mid tone
  • A Dark tone

The shades are professionally matched to blend seamlessly.

Start with the light tone, add depth with the mid, intensify shadows with the dark, then return to the light to soften transitions.

👉 The result: smooth, natural blending without harsh lines.

✏️ Key Features

Alcohol-based ink

Fast-drying, blendable, and ideal for layering techniques.

Japanese made fine nibs

The bullet tips are manufactured in Japan and feature a specialised micro-pore ink flow system.

These are not standard European nibs. They are engineered for:

  • Consistent ink flow
  • Clean, controlled lines
  • Even colour laydown
  • Smooth blending without streaking

Balanced internal ink system

Each chamber is designed to maintain optimal ink distribution across the three tones.

Space & cost efficient

Instead of buying three separate markers for shading, you get three tones in one.

🖌 Ideal For

  • Stamp colouring
  • Cardmaking
  • Manga & illustration
  • Adult colouring books
  • Planner art
  • Mixed media details

These are colouring tools — not writing fineliners.

🎯 Who Are They For?

  • Beginners who want easy blending
  • Crafters who colour stamped images
  • Artists who need quick, reliable shading
  • Creatives who prefer coordinated colour systems

Why They Stand Out

With most alcohol markers, you have to build your own shading combinations.

With TriBlend, the colour harmony is already designed for you.

No guessing.
No mismatching.
No overthinking.

Just open and blend.
