TOM NORTON'S WALNUT DRAWING INK

Tom Norton Walnut Drawing Ink is a brown sepia drawing ink with the look of traditional walnut ink, but in a modern acid-free and lightfast formula. It is not made from walnuts; it uses artist-grade pigments to create a warm, rich walnut tone without the acidity and deterioration associated with traditional walnut inks. It remains water-soluble even after drying, allowing layering, dilution, lifting and watercolor-like techniques for drawing, calligraphy, illustration, mixed media and underpainting.

Tom Norton’s Walnut Ink Darkening Medium is a concentrated medium designed to darken the original Tom Norton Walnut Drawing Ink without losing its water-soluble, watercolor-like character. It creates deeper brown sepia values, stronger shadows and a wider tonal range for drawing, calligraphy, illustration, mixed media and underpainting. Mix it with Walnut Drawing Ink for controlled darkening, or use it straight from the bottle for richer lines, dramatic shadows and deeper washes.
