We love our Revolution!

Having Revolution is the ultimate choice! Today we will show you two extra cool techniques to make the most of it!

Let's go!

1- Partial cutting ...

Step 1:

This technique is ideal for cards. Just decide the size of your card and cut a piece of paper to the right dimensions. Draw a line in the middle of your paper with a pencil ...

Step 2:
Place your die so that part of it stays above the line pencil and the rest below ...

If you already have the Revolution, you don't have to steady your die with washi tape since it has an innovative magnetic system enabling your dies to remain in their position 😉

Step 3:
Align the cutting boards along the pencil line so as to cut only the piece above the pencil line ...

Step 4:
Do the same again but this time upside down, using an  embossing folder or a mat!

Step 5:
The card contains now a cut piece and an embossed piece...

Step 6:
Fold your paper at the pencil line, outside the cut area. Erase the line with an eraser.

Step 7:
Now it's up to you to decorate your card as you wish!

This technique is ideal for thank you cards, greeting cards but also for place cards!
The result is so professional 😊

If you want to make it even simpler, just skip putting the bottom part of your card through an embossing mat or folder ...

2- Shaker cards with dies

If you have framelit dies (these create frame shapes in different sizes) - Waffle Flower has so many 😉 then this idea will fly you to the moon!

Choose your favorite die and cut any size you want on the paper you will use for your card (don't throw this piece because you will need it at the end) Use the exact smallest size and cut the transparent "window" with acetate (if you prefer it is also available in 12x12 of WRMK). You will stick this with liquid glue on the back of your card.

For the next step you will need a good dimensional tape which you will stick around your shape, also on the back of your card. Now fill the shape with mix-ins. Finally, close your shaker card with the first piece you removed from your card, sticking it to the dimensional tape. We end by closing our shaker card with the first piece we removed from our card, sticking it to the dimensional tape.

Et voila!
